Thanks for the answer Ronald. Well in a simple test like: ffmpeg -i rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -acodec copy -acodec copy -v 1 -t 120 test.avi fails the recording by stoping with error like non monotone dts. The errors here can vary.
at the other hand ffmpeg -i rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -v 1 -t 120 test.avi works fine but as I said the signed video frames that I am receiving fail. The signature is verified in the context of received 2 gops. I basically expect ffmpeg to just copy the video and audio as it receives it. Maybe if I start by asking something that could be simple: How could I make ffmpeg/or libavformat request through rtsp an interleaving stream? Thanks On Wed, May 6, 2009 at 7:44 PM, Ronald S.
