Shall I put you question in this  way

   I dont think that its necessary to write trailer bit everytime..

   for example i have done MPEG4 compression in avi container.... during
that time i dont write the trailer bit  ...i dont find any difference...may
be some expert can share what the trailer bit contain...

how useful it will be...?
