If I understood correctly, you're having issues because while audio is 
playing, driven by the sound boards own clock, you are playing back 
video, timing it by the system clock. If you have more than one clock, 
you can never be sure what time it is..

You probably need to figure out a way to measure how fast the audio is 
playing.
