Thanks a lot, IT WORKS! This is really a Kodak moment for me since I wasted
a week on this stupid problem. I will take a look at the links you sent,
however, for starters I deleted the old version of the library in /usr/lib/.
I have no idea where the old version came from, when I delete it and rebuild
ffmpeg, it doesn't reappear. Must be an error with the configure script or
the Make file.
