hi, I'm trying to figure out which audio samples are related to which video
frames in a mpeg ts stream.
here is what I get when decoding the video (relative order numbers):
frame #1: dts=1, pts=4
frame #2: dts=2, pts=2
frame #3: dts=3, pts=3
frame #4: dts=4, pts=7
frame #5: dts=5, pts=5
frame #6: dts=6, pts=6
frame #7: dts=7, pts=10
frame #8: dts=8, pts=8
frame #9: dts=9, pts=9
and so on. the frames as #n are in the order they need to be displayed, and
the dts and pts is what I get attached to the packets when I decode
at first, I didn't mind the fact that the presentation and decoding
timestamp seem to be inverted - I expected at first that the presentation ts
should have been coherent with the actual frame display order.
now, what I really need to know is if I can rely on the video dts (as it is
the only timestamp in order with the frame order) info to correlate to the
audio pts/dts'es (which are the same and in order for audio).
Best Regards,
