Hi, I want to use libavcodec as shared library in a commercial application to encode audio and video. I will use only PCM to mp2 encoder (for audio) and YUV to mpeg2 encoder(for video).
Can anyone let me know if there are any patent issues on these codecs used in libavcodec? I guess i need not open my application source as the library is under LGPL. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
