Hi,
the h264 sources in libavcodec lists "(C) 2003 Michael Niedermayer", but
doesn't say if it's GPL or LGPL.
http://www.videolan.org/developers/x264.html does not list Michael N. as
author, but says their code is used by FFmpeg.
This is a bit confusing. Which code is it?
It's clear you assume that source in libavcodes is GPL since the
configure script leaves it out when not enabling GPL.
I find that h264 gives by far the best video output when converting to
mp4. Are there any alternatives that can be used under LGPL?
