It looks like I've found a reason. It is in this line:

Commenting this line fixes the problem.
I can't tell it more exactly where AV occurs, it raises somewhere in
get_pixels_mmx() when it is called. It's MMX assembler procedure, so my
Delphi 7's debugger freezes on it :(
Is there any person out there, who could debug this procedure?
