AFAIK the _default_ configure setting is just LGPL, because GPL is turned on
by special configure switch --enable-gpl. Take a look at the manual for
details.

we are developping an application using FFMPEG.
We built it from the trunk with default settings:
./configure
make
make install
so from what we see from ./configure --help, the default setting are
GPL,so we assume we are using a GPL version but is there a way to make
sure that it is?
