Morning!
I'm using avdevice-52.dll on Windows XP to capture from a Hauppaugee PCI
capture card. However, I can't seem to capture at anything better than
320x240, even though a 3rdparty application that also does capture can
capture at 640x480 using that card.
The extent of my experience is limited - all I've tried so far is to set:
formatParams.width = 640;
formatParams.height = 480;
...before calling av_open_input_file(..). When the width/height is set,
av_open_input_file() fails - but if I leave the width/height unset, then
it only creates a 320x240 capture stream.
Any ideas or hints at what to try to get the frame size larger?
