Hi I am writing an app that grabs the screen as quickly as it can from a remote computer. Doing this takes almost 1/2 a second which is way to slow to work with. I thought that maybe I could just grab a section of the screen and send that back, but that slows things down even more because you have to take the time to scan the new image from the old one to find the differences. I have tried almost everything I have seen from the internet before finding this site.
Is there a way to compare 2 images and then save out a 3rd image to send back to a client application quickly enough that is usable in a VNC like app?
