Hello,

I would like to ask a question regarding to licensing but I am not sure if
this is the correct place to send this. Anyways here it is:
Couple months ago I have written a free software using ffmpeg libraries. It
works like a charm and I really love ffmpeg. Now that I am planning to
develop a paid application, I am looking for a different alternative to
ffmpeg since this is against GNU License. Of course, I don't want to work
with anything else but it seems that I don't have much choice. However, I
started to see that there are paid applications, which use FFMPEG in their
application. For instance, Express Burn from NCH software uses FFMPEG
libraries. I was considering to get LEADTOOLS SDK for $600 before I saw
Express Burn. Do they have the right to do this or am I missing something
here? I don't want to pay $600 if I can use FFMPEG in my paid app.

Thanks.
Mert.
