Where exactly does it state that it is 32-bit? Also, keep in mind that libavcodec decodes 24-bit audio to a 32-bit buffer (SAMPLE_FMT_S32). There is no SAMPLE_FMT_S24. There is CODEC_ID_PCM_S24* though, which take 32-bit input. /Tomas
