I've used libavcodec/libavformat to encode raw images and audio to h.264/AAC and muxed them into quictime mov files. Now I need to convert them into .mp4 format. Based on what I know, I can simply rename the extension to .mp4. However, the quicktime player wouldn't play the converted mp4 files back with error: "invalid sample description found". They played fine if I kept .mov extenson untouched. Did the mov muxer miss anything when I was generating the .mov files? Any ideas?
