i have an input flac file of 24 bits per sample depth . I want to decode it using avcodec_decode_audio2 . Is it possible for me to get linear pcm samples of 24 bit depth? Or the avcodec_decode_audio2 always output samples of 16 bit depth?
For > 16-bit the flac decoder will output 32-bit by shifting each sample since libavcodec only has 8-, 16- and 32-bit integer audio.
