Just a short update regarding my XSLT filters.

To get a better comparison of the SVG and AVG features and ideas, I
wrote a nearly complete AVG2SVG filter from scratch. I just wanted to
ask if there is a good test suite or something similar, so that I could
test the filter against a rather complex AVG file, without depending on
the python code. I guess there are still some bugs in it that will only
show in use.

I'll release the filter as soon as I have run a few more test. And I
hope I'll find the time to write down some thoughts on the relation of
AVG and SVG. That might be a good starting point to discuss if there is
a use in making AVG more compatible to other formats like SVG.

The other filter, SVG2AVG, is much more complex, and as a consequence, I
am much less pleased with it. But I have added basic flow text support
to it. And the AVG2SVG experiment gave me some ideas on how to improve
the filter.

But following the "release early, release often" priciple, I'll publish
it in the current state, so others can have a first look and write their
experiences and ideas. Patches are welcome, as is any feedback. But
please consider this alpha quality and don't have too high expectations.
