Many thanks Uli!

I have changed <ycbcrmode> from shader to mesa, and it works now very well! ;)

Best,

Ok - what happens when you run make check? I assume some tests fail? Please post the output if so.

Since you have an ATI video driver and I can't check if everything runs there, try changing the <ycbcrmode> parameter in /etc/avgrc. Possible values: shader, mesa or none.

Uli,

here are snapshots of video played with ffplay. I understand, the stuff about perfect playing, but at least viewable :)

Hi,

can you try to play back the video using ffplay or another libavcodec-based application? I'd like to know if this is a libavg bug or one in libavcodec.

Still, no application will play back all video formats perfectly, so recoding it to a different format might be the best solution.

Cheers,

Uli,

here are two snapshot (second follows with the next message), one - how the libavg application is showing, and the same video on Totem-xine. i dont know what it's doing with it, it's like stretched down and interlaced(?). I have ATI mobility X600 with proprietary ATI driver. also if you notice on the first snapshot, on top menu bar (I call it so :) ) the grey bar, there is a status text, which becomes a mess, if there is this video playing there is small video, that i took from test folder under libavg source, which seems to play normally.

Best,
Zviad

and question about video: any video I put in, looks terrible, not like in normal player, do I miss something with it?
Videos play fine here :-).

What videos are you viewing? What do you mean by 'looks terrible'? Can you put screenshots somewhere?
