Hi Michael,

a few ideas:

- I assume the video file plays back correctly in other players? (Just  
making sure it's not the file :-))
- If you seek in a video that contains audio, the audio will become  
desynchronized. This is a long-standing bug that's pretty hard to fix  
- sorry.
- Does the problem appear if you play back the video using  
avg_videoplayer.py?

If the answer to the last question is yes and the video isn't huge,  
can you make it available somewhere so I can have a look at it?
