Compiling on cygwin give me *.a and *.la library files. After a little
digging around, I haven't come across an easy way to convert these to .dlls.
Do you know of any method for doing this, or is there a ./configure
parameter I can specify to have make make me dlls? Ideally I'd like to avoid
linking in cygwin1.dll. Do you know who previously maintained the Visual
Studio solution?

Thanks for the help,
Scott

I haven't done this (or if I have, it was a long time ago), but I believe
that one can link in the cygwin1.dll with the libcdio dll's.

I'm trying to get cdda support in Gstreamer working on Windows and
that quest has led me to lbcdio. I grabbed the libcdio source and poked
around in

there are Windows binaries of a recent release of libcdio somewhere.
