[Libcdio-devel] building libcdio from cvs

I tried to build libcdio from CVS.  Briefly, I did:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/sources/libcdio co 
libcdio
./autogen.sh
I get the following error:

config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in

Should I use the libcdio-0.79 and generate patches against that?  Am I 
missing something obvious?
