Hi @all, as a cgroup noob, I support the template stuff.
Marking a cgroup as a "template" should be a simple and straightforward stuff involving a single file. Such a group 1- won't be enforced. 2- won't have "tasks" field. 3- does not support hierarchies. iirc as long as tasks are not linked to the cgroup, it shouldn't cause overhead to the kernel.
