looking at src/lex.l:46

[a-zA-Z0-9_\-\/\.\,\%\@\\]+ {yylval.name = strdup(yytext); return ID;}

ID consists of [a-zA-Z0-9_\-\/\.\,\%\@\\] characters, it means no spaces 
in group's names. If it is what you mean.
