Hi,
MySQL driver wants to fetch TEXT as binary, not string. This differs
from PostgreSQL, where TEXT fetches as string, not binary.
On the face of it, this makes it difficult to create portable
schemas. (As does the lack of any coercions in dbi, but I assume this
is a fundamental policy.)
Any comments?
