Hi, I'm sorry for the delay, but real life took too much time lately. I'm slowly retracing my steps in order to pick up those loose ends I've left behind. I've noticed that ocilib has not been ported to FreeBSD yet. What are my odds to arrive at a working installation? I'd like to give it a whirl. Second, your instructions indicate that you've "hijacked" the existing oracle driver in that "--with-oracle" selects your driver instead of the existing one. I believe it would be more appropriate to call the driver "ocilib" and use a "--with-ocilib" configure switch. What do others think? Can we ever expect the (existing) oracle driver to be as well-maintained as the other core drivers? Will a working ocilib driver provide at least as much Oracle support as the existing driver (and thus could replace it entirely)? regards, Markus -- Markus Hoenicka [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Spam-protected email: replace the quadrupeds with "mhoenicka") http://www.mhoenicka.de ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Libdbi-drivers-devel mailing list Libdbi-drivers-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/libdbi-drivers-devel
