Thanks, in essence these single board computers are neutral. Hopefully by making then more accessible in terms of relative cost creative uses will be developed from uncommon sources, including school children.
On a simple level these mini devices may also be easier to audit, in terms of components used, whilst taking account of some closed-source elements like boot software. With regards the DJ Palombo's video presentation view that it would not be plausible that each Ras Pi's unique serial number would not be allied to a purchaser, I would urge caution, as the device is a still a developmental model and it would take little effort to record such info for quality control and basic shipping.
