Hi there,

We thought you might be interested in the launch, some weeks ago, of the
production site of the collaborative federated social network Kune:
http://kune.cc Kune is focused in real-time collaboration (not just
communication), in building (not just in sharing).

Why Kune? Kune aims to replace your use (and your groups') of Google Docs,
Google/Yahoo/MSN Groups, Google Calendar, Facebook, and eventually Dropbox,
Blogger and even emails. Many of these tools are used for work (like Fb)
when they are not prepared for that. Especially, emails are not prepared
for the horrible amount of discussion, decision-making, agreements, etc we
use them for. Kune, using Apache Wave, aims to solve this issue. For more
info and doubts check our FAQ <http://kune.ourproject.org/faq/>.
Now, any techie can try out a local Kune using simply a Deb package (in any
Debian/Ubuntu) following a few
instructions<http://kune.cc/?locale=es#%21kune.docs.6810.898>.
