If there are any people who are around the area and interested in education
technology and building products for teachers, there is a hackathon called
RemixEd (http://remixedk12.com/) on August 4-5 in Mountain View.

You can contact Mike Lee below for more details, or just sign up!

Hi all,

Some of you may have heard already, those in the new cohort might not have.
I'm putting together an edtech hackathon with Jessie
Arora<https://angel.co/jarora>from
TeacherSquare <http://TeacherSquare.org>. This event,
RemixEd<http://remixedk12.com/>,
is a cross between a traditional developer's hackathon and Startup Weekend
EDU.

We just got a date and location for this event:

August 4 - 5
At the 500 Startups office
444 Castro St, Mountain View, CA 94041

We'd love to have a big ImagineK12 presence there :) Thank you to those
who've already signed up to participate and sponsor this event. If you
haven't and would like to, let me know.

And to those who are still seeking a business idea, we're asking all
educators to submit their ideas and/or problems to solve beforehand, so we
can help them make sure they pitch something that's doable in a weekend.
You can volunteer to help me work with these teachers. And perhaps one of
these ideas will inspire you!
