Hi all, As promised, I've written up a post noting some of what I've learned over the last few weeks, as I've been reviewing a variety of digital safety & security guides and handouts while producing a new security curriculum for the mobile multimedia reporting app Small World News is developing in conjunction with Guardian Project.
I'd love your thoughts, you may also be interested in some of the issues I've noted with TextSecure and Truecrypt, and how they may provide lessons to all of us involved in developing better tools and training for activists, journalists, etc. Once the curriculum draft is closer to something presentable I'll also request your input there, in case anyone is interested. http://smallworldnews.tv/featured/how-much-security-is-enough/ Thanks! -- Brian Conley Director, Small World News http://smallworldnews.tv m: 646.285.2046 Skype: brianjoelconley public key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xCEEF938A1DBDD587<http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE827FACCB139C9F0>
