Then why would you even consider trying to get them to use one? The answer to this may not be to use the most user-friendly computing technology you can find (at an enormous cost in design, development, deployment, training, and security); the answer may be not to use computing technology. What communications methods *do* they understand, are they comfortable with, are part of the fabric of their society? And can those be leveraged for this purpose? There are precedents for this, you know, throughout human history. Lots and lots of groups managed to organize protests and resistance movements and educational initiatives and they did it all without computing technology. Perhaps one of those groups will provide an operational model for whatever-it-is that you're trying to do. ---rsk -- Too many emails?
