ISP's usually store the IP's they have assigned to customers for a certain period of time. Even if your IP changes, there is an entry in a database somewhere that notes what your IP was. At the very least, knowing your IP denotes what ISP you're on and (depending on how large your ISP is) your locale. I'm not trying to argue with you here. I just think it's a pretty big deal that *anyone* can get your IP. -- Too many emails?
