Cryptocat, in collaboration with OpenITP, will be hosting the very first Cryptocat Hackathon weekend in New York City, on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of August 2013.
Join us on August 17-18 for the Cryptocat Hackathon and help empower activists worldwide by improving useful tools and discussing the future of making privacy accessible. This two day event will take place at the OpenITP offices, located on 199 Lafayette Street, Suite 3b, New York City. Hacking to Empower Accessible Privacy Worldwide Cryptocat provides the easiest, most accessible way for an individual to chat while maintaining their privacy online. It is a free software that aims to provide an open, accessible Instant Messaging environment that encrypts conversations and works right in your browser.
