Everybody is asking Facebook, Google et al whether they've been compelled to share users' personal information, but I've yet to hear whether they've been asked to selectively alter the scripts they serve to millions of third-party sites for analytics, fonts, social widgets, etc.
Has anybody been researching this? Are there mechanisms for site operators to determine whether all users get the same result from third-party script inclusions? By compelling one of the big operators to selectively alter the javascript they deliver, activity on millions of sites could be revealed to prying eyes. -- Too many emails?
