I find the limits on what metrics firms can publish interesting. I understand not being able to publish the effected usernames but I'm not sure I see any value with almost any other metrics. It just seems like typical government overkill of 'keep everything we possibly can about what we do from the public view". I've always failed to see how that protects national security. Personally, I wonder what would happen if firms banded together and simply said 'screw it, we're publishing everything short of usernames and investigation details"? If a majority of firms did this, how would the government respond?
