Hi Ricky, Thanks for sharing this. I'm curious if you allow people to review your code or if you have had any respected professional cryptographers do a code review to make sure that your cryptography is solid.
I see on your website that you say "Since Galaxkey is a cloud based solution, it does not require additional hardware or software on your premises." Does this mean that galaxkey is storing the private keys for users? If so, what measures do you take to secure those public keys. Could a rogue employee get access to those public keys and use them to decrypt communications without the user knowing? What about a law enforcement agency. Your product seems interesting, but it does raise some serious concerns in my mind. Thanks for sharing it with the libtech list, I look forward to seeing your response. - Cooper On 12/08/2013 12:08 PM, Ricky Magalhaes wrote: > Dear list subscribers, > > Galaxkey have just been invited to share our technology with you on this > list. > > Galaxkey is an email and document encryption company that has simple to > use software that is easy to use and free for personal use. > > In 2006 we started the journey of building an email an document > encryption platform that would be easy and simple to use compared to > other software available. > > Today our software is used by many people and the network is rapidly > growing, we have support Android, Apple, Blackberry, Windows, and any > platform that has a browser… > > Its free for personal use and you can encrypt any document or email. > Because of the explosive growth our team does not stop working on the > platform… :) thank you to all that have signed up so far… > > If you would like to signup please feel free to do > so: https://manager.galaxkey.com/Services/RegisterMe > > If you want more detail please visit http://www.galaxkey.com > > You can find us on: > https://twitter.com/Galaxkey > Dowloads on https://manager.galaxkey.com/Downloads > https://www.facebook.com/galaxkey > http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-GIwvd5WcSMl5x4tEjOcSw > > We welcome your comments and feedback. > > We appreciate your support! > > Kind regards, > > Ricky Magalhaes (CISSP) | Technical Director | Galaxkey Limited > > e: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > a: The Grange, Neasden Lane, London, NW101QB > w: www.galaxkey.com > > Galaxkey (you have nothing to hide from people you trust) > Galaxkey is registered in England and Wales. > Company registration number: 07338597 > > -- Liberationtech is public & archives are searchable on Google.
