These programs have raised fundamental questions about the place of surveillance in a democratic society. Among the topics to be discussed will be: Surveillance, the Constitution, and Reciprocal Trust Whistleblowing, Leaks, and State Secrets in a Transparent Society Digital Civil Disobedience Speakers will include Profs. Jeffrey Rosen (GWU Law), Craig Green (Temple Law), Christopher Sprigman (NYU Law and UVA Law), David Kairys (Temple Law), John Raines (Temple University), David Post (Temple Law), and Matt Blaze (University of Pennsylvania); with Alan Butler (EPIC), Shane Harris (Foreign Policy), Siobhan Gorman (the Wall Street Journal), Tor Ekeland (Lead counsel for defendant in US v. A discussion panel featuring the filmmaker, members of the Media burglary team, and their attorney, will follow the screening.
