From: Todd Greene <[email protected]> There has been a lot of news in the past 24 hours regarding the Heartbleed Bug (CVE-2014-0160) as reported by the OpenSSL project. If you are not aware of the situation, the Heartbleed Bug is a serious vulnerability in the popular OpenSSL cryptographic software library. The bug allows anyone on the Internet to read the memory of the systems protected by the vulnerable versions of the OpenSSL software.
We take security and privacy of customer data very seriously at PubNub. To this end, I would like to let you know personally that as of 12:00am Pacific this morning, we have applied the patch released by the OpenSSL project to all of PubNub's machines and services.
