Do you know if there will be people from CMJ (or at least MAGNet) participating do you know? What about local organizations like Digital Stewards? Heck...what about May First/People Link whose principal spokesperson is an African-Indigenous Puerto Rican -- me. :-) I think getting women into these things is critical. Our community is plagued by rampant and often vicious sexism and so it's important to counter and struggle against that. I'm just raising the racial aspect because it's very very very seldom raised which we need to change.
