EDRi, VUB-LSTS and FUSL are jointly organizing the pre-CPDP civil society
meeting again!

Please *save the date* in your calendars, *send us your logo* if you wish
to support the event and submit *workshop proposals* before 8 December if
you wish to participate.

*What:* Pre-CPDP Privacy Camp - Big data and ever increasing state
surveillance: What are the challenges for human rights online?
*When:* 20 January 2015, 9am-6pm
*Where:* Brussels (location tbc)

The privacy camp is a civil society warm-up event for the *CPDP
<http://www.cpdpconferences.org/>* in Brussels and will address the
problems currently facing human rights online, with a focus on privacy and
data protection challenges and possibilities in Europe. The event is
launched by European Digital Rights (EDRi), the Law, Science, Technology
and Society research group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB-LSTS) and
the Université Saint-Louis-Bruxelles (FUSL).

*Submit your workshop proposals!*
Besides a line-up of speakers, the event will also include unconference
workshops structured by participants. If you wish to propose a session,

before 8 December 2014.
