I know it sounds obnoxious to say but “patches accepted.” While I still use
Thunderbird daily, it is a community project now at Mozilla, not one actively
supported (beyond some infrastructure) by paid Mozilla employees. It has been
this way for a while. Thunderbird will support whatever the dev community for
Thunderbird decides to implement.
