Hi,

The Tor Project is starting a newsletter--it's a fairly conventional thing,
pointing out some of the good stuff we're working on that otherwise might
escape notice, especially for people who don't follow Tor closely or are
not technical. It answers, for a general audience, the question: "What is
Tor working on?"

We still publish our blog (https://blog.torproject.org/), which includes
technical information and important, timely updates. If something serious
ever happens with Tor, check our blog.

We also publish Tor Weekly News (TWN), which is a great way for technical
people to stay abreast of our work. You can subscribe to TWN here:
https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tor-news (TWN has
been on hiatus but we expect to re-activate it soon).

As for the newsletter, subscribe if you wish, and see what you think (this
first one is sliiiightly dated as we tinkered with the format). Please only
subscribe if your threat model allows you to be associated with a Tor
newsletter.

You can send me an email to: [email protected] with your name and email
address.

Thanks for reading,

Kate
