Hi all, OONI, a Tor Project project, is releasing its new mobile app, called OONIprobe. OONIprobe allows anyone with an Android or iOS device to monitor network censorship.
Using OONIprobe on your phone or tablet, you can test for: - Blocking of websites; - Presence of systems that could be responsible for censorship or surveillance; - Speed and performance of your own network (a cool benefit). The results of your tests will be published <https://explorer.ooni.torproject.org/world/>, and advocates, foreign governments, and the media can use the data to press the censoring government or company to stop. OONIprobe is free and downloadable from the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
