funding is currently available for students in postgraduate programmes at 
Cardiff University, UK, including the MA Digital Media and Society and the PhD 
in Journalism (with a focus on Digital Media and Society). Applications for the 
coming academic year (2017/18) are still accepted.

The MA Digital Media and Society explores current challenges in areas such as 
big data, digital rights, social media, digital culture and economy, internet
