If you are already a fan of Khan Academy, here is some good news. This job
announcement points to
new free learning products that Khan Academy will be introducing in the coming
months and years.

You might even think about starting a Khan Academy Club at your school,
library, community center, etc.
The purpose of the club would be to explore new Khan Academy products and help
explain their value to your larger community. I have a hunch the new products
will be more interactive than explanatory videos -- which themselves
are valuable.

I'm generally on board with Khan Academy -- although I reserve the right to
explain how and why I think they could be doing things better, too. Over the
years there have been some thoughtful reservations expressed about Khan
Academy.
Some of those reservations are important to keep in mind.

btw, I'm hoping Freerice.com might similarly introduce variations and new
developments. I haven't seen much change at Freerice.com over the past few
years. When you have a good idea, you need to run with it.
