Do you consider parents spanking their children to be "torture"?

What's more harmful to a human being; a slap on the behind with a 
belt, paddle or large stick, or being humiliated by having to wear a 
pair of pink panties on one's head?  

If you answer the latter, then you have to condemn about 80% of all 
American parents as "torturers".
