Dear Zack: If the children of the Mexicans become great architects and
inventors--if they become solvers of problems (YOUR problems, including
problems of congestion),--if they even only clean up your house and yard for
practically free (assuming that is something you would like), then you will
find you will start saying: "The more people like this, the better." On the
other hand, if the government feeds them money (YOUR money and mine) in
accordance with how debilitated they can appear to be, you will say something
more like: "I did not father these dependents, they are not related to me, & I
refuse to take care of them. The fewer of them there are, the better."

Once upon a time, Unitedstates was flooded with dirt-poor Irish. To the extent
the Irish tried to enmesh themselves in Northeastern politics and support
themselves on money earned by others (tax money), they were resented.
Northeastern Americans felt the Irish immigrants were trying to take over
America, and they did whatever they could to exclude the Irish. The Irish
seemed very foreign. However, for some reason (perhaps because there were not
extensive welfare programs in those times), most Irish people ultimately became
productive, instead, developing abilities and skills they could trade for the
gratitude and the money of free people. By now, if you ask any American what
his ancestry is, he will almost always include "Irish" in his answer.
And--this is the point--despite the fact that it is now largely Irish, America
retains little, if any, feeling that it was once overtaken by the Irish or
forced to work for the Irish.

Government policies towards populations are idiotic on an ongoing basis. When
huge influxes of NEW population show up, this idiocy is highlighted & becomes
even more obvious than usual. The new immigrants are not to be blamed for the
increased and increasing idiocy of the government of Unitedstates.

I'll go this far with you: Either the welfare system or the influx of poor
Mexicans needs to be eliminated. --But you can see which one I would choose to
eliminate. I would not give you THIS * for the Unitedstates welfare
system.

You're missing a key point. To the racist/ethnocentric types, they ARE being
productive when they sit around making and raising children. They
specifically
have the goal over out-populating other groups. The one group that I know of
with certainly that embraces this type of racism is Mexicans, who view
out-populating non-Mexicans as being a way of taking over a region.
