The House of Rep. voted on a non-binding resolution calling for the
immediately withdrawing the troops from Iraq. Ironically the
resolution was offered by the Republican leadership. Three members
voted in favor of the resolution. All 3 are Democrats. One of them is
Wexler from FL. I am not surprised but disappointed that only 3 voted
in favor of the resolution. Of course it was a non-binding resolution
but still it is a symbolic gesture.
