"Ought to be a wake-up call to you Americans" is an understatement, James.
And the really scary thing is that since becoming concerned about this scam a
few months back, I have been conducting my own "poll" -- even strangers that I
meet on the phone can not escape my query, " Are you you ready for your flu
shot?"
Very close to exactly half say they will line up once the still inadequate
vaccine supply meets the demand. And even the the other half, many of whom have
observed that the only time they (or their friends/family) get the 'flu" is
after a flu shot, are still generally uninformed.
Less than 10% even bring up the corruption inherent in this scam (eg the
$Billions in tamiflu sales -a Rumsfeld company- or the $7billion Bush giveaway
to pharma, or the trampling of our constitutional rights). people are
generally unaware because our whore media refuses to inform and our whore
congress refuses to do other than rubber stamp.. And when I mention such, the
usual attitude is "business as usual."
A few weeks back,. we started a Yahoo group dedicated to information on this
and related health issues and how our government misuses it's power; James (and
YOU if you are reading this) are encouraged to check us out; Can't hurt, and
you'd be more than welcome.
