Vic,

OK, you asked for it. Here are your own previous words from this
thread.

---------------

"the law is there to deter people from putting themselves in
situations where they can loose
control and harm themselves or others."

"seat belt and helmet laws are another reason why you loose
public support. no one thinks that seat belt laws are a violation
of your freedoms."

"it can easily be argued that not having seat belt laws and anti
drug laws creates a cost to society from the by products of
people hurting themselves and others in the process, and that
cost infriges on the rights of others."

"what evidence is there that seat belt laws for instance cause
more harm then they fix?"

"only if you count yourself and passengers as nobodies. I just
dont agree with your reasoning one bit."

"not wearing seat belts is a major contributor to car injury
statistics."

"you have no right to endanger our own freedoms any more then you
have to endenger any one elses."

"there is nothing illogical about the position. what is illogical
is one law for others and one for the self."

-----------

Now, are you sure you still want to claim you were not
disagreeing with my positions? HA!

you are assuming if someone isnt agreeing with you then they must
agree
with the opposite view point. that isnt necessarily the case.
