One day I hope that we will have a two party system:

Limited government Libertarians VS NO government Libertarians

  When we reach that point,
we can take up this debate.
  Until then,
I think we should work together to abolish every part of government that we
all agree is too much.
  The house is on fire.
We do not need to argue about the paint job.

Hey guys, I'm not new to this board, I just haven't posted that much,
but I have a question. I do consider myself a libertarian but I am
also finding myself starting to embrace more extreme anarchist ideas.
This sudden shift is because I not only distrust the 2 major parties,
but now the smaller ones too. Lets say the LP succeeds in spreading
the principle of strictly limited government and becomes a big player
in the political world and gets a majority in the House, or Senate, or
even wins the Executive branch, maybe all of them. How do we know the
LP will not become corrupted just like the Dems and Reps? I am
starting to think that if this country has any hope to turn around is
to elect people for one term only that are not part of any political
party.
