Actually I signed up a new member to the LP last week because he had heard about Michael Badnarik (and me) when I was petitioning for Dr. William Peirce for governor of Ohio after church services a few weeks ago. See www.peirceforohio.com. The Libertarian Party of Ohio has also endorsed George Mays for US Senate. See http://georgemays1.tripod.com/ Although I am not courageous enough to get rid of my driver's license, Michael's actions have attracted good people to the party. We probably gained some votes because of it. We did not have the resources to wean the idiot vote away from their establishment-media induced errors. We need to appeal to the sheeple or nice people as you call them, but not at the expense of losing our principles and especially not our principled activists. Finally, I prefer to say that the first Badnarik presidential campaign is over. For those who need to have information about his current activities in Texas House District 10, see www.badnarik.org and www.constitutionpreservation.org.
